A blond hair extension supposedly belonging to supermodel Kate Moss has been auctioned off on eBay for $1,264.00. Moss apparently lost the piece in Berlin while trying to dodg a paparazzi as she returned to the plush Hotel Adlon after a night out in the German capital last month, according to press reports.
The photographer who then posted it on eBay plans to donate the proceeds to a German anti-drugs charity.
In other Moss-related hair news, her long-time friend and favorite photographer is saying she needs a makeover – which seems kind of harsh since she IS a supermodel.
He says, “Kate is quite simply the icon of this generation, and probably the next.
“My favorite picture… is one of her with short hair. We all tell her to get her hair cut short again, but she just doesn’t listen.”
